I was born and raised in Santa Maria. I have always liked drawing and when I was working in Oxnard I took oil painting lessons from Grace Halverson who taught the basics of mixing colors. Since then I have done China painting, acrylic, some watercolor, ink pencils and worked with pewter to have a 3D effect .

I love creating lines and working out the problems of making the piece come out near what I want it to be. And I especially enjoy looking at a finished painting and asking “Did I do that?”
