Dr. Martin William McLaughlin is the newest member of the Santa Maria Valley Artist Guild. “Dr. M.”is excstatic to be the featured artist for June and July. He is a local retired elementary and art teacher. “Marty” is a native to Orcutt, California on our beautiful central coast. He is a pet and wildlife enthusiast and abstract expressionist painter. This latest work at The Santa Maria Airport Gallery is a merging of those two ideas into illustrated animals that resemble children’s literature characters.
